Y50X Series Circular Connectors
A bayonet-lock, quick-disconnect circular connector built for power and signal connections in strategic and tactical systems, avionics, ground support equipment and other demanding environments. Nine shell sizes, sixteen insert arrangements, seven cable-tail styles.
Metric Circular Connectors Built for Fast Connect and Hard Use
The Y50X is the metric general-purpose branch of Huada’s Y50 circular connector platform (the other branch, Y50DX, is a dedicated power series). Both the plug and receptacle use an internal bayonet-pin locking mechanism, so the two halves mate and de-mate in a single quick motion — no threaded coupling to run down, no tools required in the field.
Each connector is compact and lightweight for its contact density, with strong pull-out (strain-relief) performance at the cable entry. Sealing is available in a standard grade as well as high-vacuum and high-pressure variants, and every size is manufactured to meet the technical requirements of GJB101A-97, MIL-C-26482 and GJB598A-96.
Key Features
- Internal bayonet-pin coupling for fast mate / de-mate, even with gloved hands
- Compact, lightweight shell construction with strong strain-relief at the cable exit
- Up to seven cable-tail styles: ground/pressure-clamp, cable clamp-plate, simple potted, anti-vibration strain-relief, 90° angled, and spring cable-guard
- Standard, high-vacuum, and high-pressure sealing options
- Nine shell sizes (08–24) and sixteen insert (pin-count) arrangements
- Manufactured to GJB101A-97, MIL-C-26482 and GJB598A-96 technical requirements
- Keyed inserts (positions I–IV) prevent cross-mating between similar connectors
- Rated for strategic/tactical systems, avionics, and other electrical and signal (telecom) connections

| Key letter | V | Y | I | L | T |
| Angle from key I | 155° | 95° | 0° | 100° | 150° |
Coupling & Mounting Styles
Receptacles are available in four mounting styles and plugs in five common tail styles (a sixth, spring cable-guard, is also offered). All dimensions below are in millimeters; confirm exact tolerances against the CAD drawing or datasheet before finalizing a design.
