 How Water Pressure Sensor Works

Our sensor measures water level using the hydrostatic pressure principle:

P=ρghP = \rho g h

As water depth increases, pressure rises proportionally. The internal stainless steel diaphragm converts this pressure into a stable electrical signal.

Example:

  • 1 meter water depth ≈ 0.1 bar ≈ ~1.6V output
